Biggest little theatre in town!
The Bernie Legge Theatre, located in the heart of Queen’s Park, is home to the Vagabond Players, one of BC’s oldest amateur thespian troupes. Productions at the volunteer-run playhouse range from comedies to dramas, from classics to original plays. But the little theatre in the park doesn’t just put on great shows, it’s also a learning centre for anyone interested in becoming an actor, director, lighting or sound technician, set designer, or costumer, and it’s where aspiring playwrights can present their work. This is your opportunity to catch the next big star before they get famous like Raymond Burr, who performed at the theatre with the Vagabond Players in 1966.
Tickets can now be purchased online. For any other information, please contact the theatre by calling 604.521.0412 or emailing inquiries@vagabondplayers.ca.
Note, the theatre offers a limited selection of beverages and snacks for intermission.
