4,000 square feet of fun for teens
The New Westminster Youth Centre gives 13-18 year-olds a place to go and stuff to do. It gives them a chance to hang out with their friends, make new ones and become involved in the community. The new facility offers a computer lab and a lounge that’s fully stocked with electronics and table games for kids to hang out and socialize. There are daily activities such as cooking, knitting and tournaments, as well as sports and special events. An annual membership costs just $15 per year. There is also an exercise room, offering state-of-the-art weights and cardio equipment with trained staff on hand to offer tips and help create exercise plans. Exercise room fees are $1 per drop in or $10 per month. In New West, there is no reason to complain there is nothing to do!
