Belmont Parklet: Marc Rivest

Marc Rivest is a singer, guitarist, and educator currently based in Vancouver BC. Born and raised in Ontario, Marc picked up the guitar at 13 and never put it down. He began devoting his efforts toward music full-time in 2013, and since then has completed countless hours of playing. Through a Diploma in Jazz Studies at Capilano U, Marc was able to study with some of the top instructors in Western Canada including Bill Coon, Ron Samworth, Andre Lachance, Geordie Roberts, and Steve Maddock. Marc has played at bars, restaurants, clubs, private functions, small festivals, and tourist attractions across Canada. He is currently in rehearsals for a busy summer gig schedule with many upcoming Vancouver shows.
